HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF NORTH IDAHO WILL HOST FIRST ANNUAL "HEARTS FOR HOMES" BANQUET & SILENT AUCTION
HAYDEN, Idaho, December 18, 2009 – Habitat for Humanity North Idaho, a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, announces its first annual "Hearts for Homes" banquet and silent auction. The event will be held on February 27, 2010 at the Coeur d’Alene Inn, 506 W, Appleway Avenue.
Tickets for the event are available now and can be obtained at the following locations: Community 1st Bank, US Bank, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore located at 176 W. Wyoming Avenue, Hayden, Idaho.
Major sponsors for this event are: Ground Force Manufacturing - Victory Homes, Copper Basin Construction, Community 1st Bank, Coldwell Banker-Schneidmiller Realty, and Midway Nissan-Chrysler-Jeep-Select Subaru.
Rick Shipman, Board of Director's Chair for Habitat’s North Idaho operations, said, "We are excited about our first annual fundraiser. We are currently building our first green home in Spirit Lake and getting four more lots ready to build green homes here in Coeur d’Alene. We have special plans to make it a fun evening so that we can continue serving families in Kootenai County. We are also grateful to our sponsor’s for their generosity."
